The Tiger King is a series of comics that parodies The Lion King. It's inspired by an existing Lion King spoof that appeared in an episode of The Animaniacs.
It made its first online appearance in 2004 at Lionking Fanart.org.

Nimba and Sala (2007).
Nimba
Nimba is a parody of Simba. He is a tiger.
He's like Simba in the sense he wishes to become king and expects respect from other animals. He's noisy and obnoxious, thus nobody takes him seriously, including his own friend, Sala.
Sala
Sala is a parody of Nala. She is a leopard.
Why she hangs out with Nimba is unknown, as she's seemingly annoyed by his stupidity. Even so, she doesn't show aggression towards her friend.
Mufrapa
Mufrapa is a parody of Mufasa. He is a tiger
Sararie
Sararie is a parody of Sarabi. She is a tiger.

Zsazsou
Zsazsou is a parody of Zazu.
He's a blue parrot with the basic intellect of one. He is far from helpful and mostly able to repeat what others say of have said.
At other times he calls himself "Polly" and speaks his mind about what he wants ("Polly wants a lawyer!").
Never-Healing-Line-In-The-Face
Never-Healing-Line-In-The-Face is a parody of Scar. He is a tiger.
Even though his name suggests he has a scar, it's just a regular tiger stripe.
Zhenni (2005).
Zhenni
Zhenni is a parody of Shenzi. She is a hyena.
She's portrayed as a docile hippy, and apparently invited Nimba over to the elephant graveyard for dinner more than once. Their friendly relationship isn't being appreciated by her boyfriend.
Goodsay
Goodsay is a parody of Banzai. He is a hyena.
He has a relationship with Zhenni, but breaks up with her every time Nimba shows up, as he thinks she is in love with him.
Trivia
- Sala resembles Kiara's old design from another series, called The Friends.
