Sora Puppet Pals is a Kingdom Hearts parody of the well-known Potter Puppet Pals Youtube/Newgrounds videos.
Paper puppets were made of Sora, Riku and Kairi, and the recorded video footage dubbed over after the fact. The series was supposed to have multiple episodes, but only one was ever made. It used to be uploaded on the long defunct "ananas" channel, which was VampireMeerkat's first Youtube account. The channel got deleted during Youtube's early copyright purge and the video was never reuploaded again. It's guessed to have been uploaded in March of 2007.
Nevertheless, the first thing made referring to the video was a GIF animation, originally as a signature for the Gaia Online forums, and was also used in the video itself. The SWF version was eventually uploaded at Deviantart, though became unwatchable after Adobe halted their support for Flash animations.
Story
The video starts off with Riku and Kairi on Destiny Islands. Kairi proclaims how great their lives are and Riku cheerfully disagrees.
Sora then enters the scene, introducing himself as the keyblade master and not saying much else. His title doesn't impress his friends, who show off their own keyblades; Riku's "treeblade" (a piece of an actual plant attached to the base of a keyblade) and Kairi's "saladbowlblade" (a keyblade with a bowl of salad at the end).
Sora doesn't appreciate the joke and doesn't care to act like his normal self for the sake of the video. Riku then asks if he wants to battle with him, but he declines.An omninous voice is then heard calling for Sora, whereafter a figure in a hooded coat -represented by a bunch of black socks tied together- shows up to kidnap Kairi. Sora and Riku let it happen, then stand around until the video ends.

- The video came with a post-credit scene where VampireMeerkat showed off the puppets and how they were made.
- The puppets still exist.
- The puppets sit on Chinese chopsticks.
- During moments where more than 2 characters shared the screen, the third one was held steady in between VampireMeerkat's teeth.
