Red Marker is a one-chapter Ed, Edd n Eddy fanfiction starring Jonny.
The short talks about how Plank disappeared as a character, told by Jonny, and was written to clarify Plank's absence in Ed, Edd n Eddy Highschool.
It was one of the submissions to the second fanfiction contest at The3Eds ("Fanfic of the Season"), and therefore was only visible for registered The3Eds users. A rule of the contest was to include the word "red" in the title.
The story hasn't been published anywhere else on the internet and became lost after the closing down of the The3Eds website, and unlike "Red Is All I See, Who Could Blame Me?", which was submitted for the same contest, it didn't have any illustrations. It was published on April 12, 2011.
Plot
Jonny is sitting in front of Plank, who appears lifeless, and tries to make him respond. Meanwhile, his inner monologue talks about when it first happened and how he handled it.
At the end Jonny comes to the conclusion Plank was never real to begin with, and he just grew up; thus no longer has imaginary friends.
