My Little PWNy is a comedic video dub parodying the first episode of the 2010 My Little Pony series. All voices were performed by VampireMeerkat.
The parody mostly follows the same story beats as the original, but puts a heavy focus on Twilight's dislike for ponies and social interaction in general. The prophecy of an evil villain getting resurrected is treated as an afterthought.
As the original video only covered the first half, plans were made to dub the second as well, but this video project has been on stand-by for years, despite most of it being edited and voiced to completion. In this sequel, the villainous Nightmare Moon is the proper main conflict.
Part one was uploaded at Youtube on March 17, 2014, though mostly finished 2 years prior.
Characters
Edward Cullen
"Edward Cullen" is Twilight Sparkle. The name is a reference to the Edward Cullen character from the Twilight franchise, who is a vampire with skin that sparkles when exposed to sunlight.
She has a disdain for ponies, happiness, and the overall concept of friendship, even though she befriended a small dragon and respects the revered Jesus Pony.
Spyro
"Spyro" is Spike. His name was never revealed, though a visual reference to it was made.
He mostly tells Edward what to do and where to go next in order to progress the story.
Thumb Cake
"Thumb Cake" is Pinkie Pie. Her name was never revealed.
She was seen running away in fear when Edward introduced herself, never to be seen again. She has a more prominent role in the unpublished sequel, where she is a fast-talking and upbeat character with a high-pitched voice.
Applejerk
"Applejerk" is Applejack. Her name was never revealed in the original video, but was in the still unpublished sequel.
She is a redneck stereotype with a sloppy accent who wanted Edward to marry her brother, so she didn't have to and "they'd finally have some fresh genes" in the family. At the end of the scene, Edward is seen walking away with a large stomach; insinuated to be pregnant.
In the unpublished sequel, Applejerk mostly takes on the role of the straight man, especially when Edward doesn't. Nevertheless, there is one scene where she threatens not to help a falling Edward if she refuses to marry her brother.
Rainblow Stash
"Rainblow Stash" is Rainbow Dash. Her name was never revealed.
She's only a passerby in the original video; where she terminated Edward's unwanted pregnancy by bumping into her, then immediately flew away while saying an almost-racial slur.
In the unpublished sequel, her role is still small and her most defining scene is again throwing a slur at Edward and asking her for cigarettes with a raspy voice.
Hilarity
"Hilarity" is Rarity. Her name was never revealed.
She only cares about what is popular at the moment, though still has an appreciation for the late artist, Prince. She has an unsubtle crush on Edward, who she tried to hit on while giving a make-over. She often uses the word "fabulous" in her sentences.
Sufferdie
"Sufferdie" is Fluttershy. Her name was never revealed.
She is a seemingly sweet and normal pegasus who appreciates the basics of pony life; like "friendship" and "toleration", though it was her evil and murderous side that peaked Edward's interest. Nevertheless, Sufferdie rejected her offer to be "BFFs", as she feared that would only inspire My Little Pony fans to draw porn fanart of them.
When Edward realized Sufferdie was still more into preaching kindness than setting living creatures on fire, she cut her off and fled inside her home.
In the unpublished sequel, it's revealed Sufferdie is the daughter of a monstrous creature.
Jesus Pony
"Jesus Pony" is Princess Celestia. She is only mentioned in the original video, but had an actual speaking role in the unpublished sequel, where she was shown to be rude, had set Edward up to fight her sister for fun, and use street language. Still, the two are perceivably close friends.
She gladly had her sister getting locked up again at the end of the story and argued it was the right thing to do, as her being black meant she's evil.
Nightmaremoon Moonmare
"Nightmaremoon Moonmare" is Nightmare Moon/Princess Luna. Her name was never revealed and she was only mentioned in the original video.
In the unpublished sequel, she formally introduced herself as the villain, but also wished to do a singing performance at the party she interrupted. Further in time, she scolds the main characters for stealing her Pokémon and wanted to battle them, though admitted not to know how.
Her Nightmare Moon transformation was made undone by the heroes, but there was no redemption and she was locked back up inside the moon as punishment.
