Katkats are meerkats that appear in an alternate future starring the two Lion King fancharacters, Damy and Deirdre. They have evolved into scrawny animals with a basic need to survive.
The exact date of their creation is unknown, but was presumably between 2004 and 2006. They've made no official online appearance.
"Deirdre is sent hundreds of thousands of years into the future by Cheekah to give Damy the impression she abandoned him.
When she returns to her home in this future, she learns Damy has gotten a more monstrous appearance and became a tyrannizing animal. His mindless destructive nature turned the forest into an empty wasteland and forced the survived generations to live underground. Because of this lifestyle, these meerkats have a black, white or blueish fur, are nearly blind, underfed, and developed a different language similar to vampire Latin.
When Deirdre meets up with Damy, he again doesn't remember her and their history repeats. It's implied he'll never be able to speak full sentences again or show signs of civility."
