Haremans are mythological creatures that look like a rabbit/hare combined with a human. They were first mentioned in the Ed, Edd n Eddy fanfiction "Until I See You Again".
Behaviour
They like to obey their rules and traditions, making it easy to exploit them. They have many enemies that hunt them for food, one of them being another humanoid species called allcats.
When a hareman is too overcome by stress, they can fall unconscious and die of a heart attack. This is similar to a phenomenon found in normal rabbits. Because of this, though, they're an easy and loved prey.
The species managed to survive because of their talent in keeping their villages hidden. Their instincts also urge all 18-year-olds and left-over singles to meet up at a designated meeting ground and find a partner for life. It's uncommon for a hareman to die single or without having at least 5 children.
Appearance

They have long ears, small sharp nails, short tails and tend to have thin, light fuzz covering their bodies. This is mostly felt and not seen. They walk on their toes and their feet resemble that of a rabbit.
The fur on their ears are always the same colour as their hair, though can have differently coloured spots and patches. Their skin colour seems to be random, though dark-haired and haremans with spots are more likely to be dark-skinned.
They have a sporty, but slender build, since they're runners and not fighters. They wear short robes made with the hair of fellow angora haremans, who's hair seems to grow fast and long enough to provide a village with clothes within just 2 months of time.
Trivia
- They were inspired by the viera race from the Final Fantasy video game series, but don't share any other similarities besides being a rabbit-human creature.
